Looks like we are pulling all stops to get people to Hattiesburg on Thursday Night.

The Alumni Association will have a bus going to Southern Miss on Thursday if you are interested!

40 seats available, includes a boxed lunch, drinks, and tickets to the game.

Bus leaves at 3:00 and returns right after the game.

Cost is $100 per person.

The AA has been top notch here recently. Independence bowl was slam dunk. Saturday was great. Selling of chicken shirts and now this. Make it a party people. I was on the fence for Thursday but I’m all in after seeing this.

I’m still a namer. The last email sent had “University of Louisiana at Lafayette” at least 8 times when I quit reading it.

By chance I met someone today that worked at the AA when the name change happened. Short version, total lack of direction on all levels towards dropping the “at Lafayette” though many knew that was the idea.

Self inflicted wound.

I’d get tossed off the bus the first time I’d hear/see Lafayette.
