Thread: Jordan Brown

    Default Jordan Brown

    From the Advocate:

Brown explained his participation in senior night, even though he’s technically still a junior. “That was really just in case,” Brown said. “It was fun. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get a senior night or not. It was cool to really experience that. I’ve seen it all through my years of college. It was cool to be a part of it.”

Reading this yesterday is giving me a little bit of hope that Jordan does in fact return next year. I know it's probably a long shot, but he could have easily said his participation in senior night was because he won't be back next season. But, he didn't. If he does come back, he would be instrumental in keeping our program moving in the right direction. Fingers crossed.

Also, if he would develop into an effective 3 pt shooter and improve his free throw %, he would definitely improve his chances making a NBA roster. He's got a nice shooting stroke already. He could do that by coming back next year and putting in the work. In any case, I've really enjoyed watching him play this year. No prima donna here, just a first class guy.

It would be awesome if decides his best path to the NBA would be another year as a Cajun . . .

Guess it will depend on scout evaluations prior to the NBA Draft...

It was a surprise to the staff that he came back this year. Doubt we see him in a Cajun uniform next year

I really don't see many scenarios for which he does come back.

Three dollar tshirts for player of the week is a violation, but $200 adidas gift cards for getting vaxx is not, and more than one senior night gift (possibly also approaching $200) is also not a violation. Fascinating.

Different times. Different rules. Unless we beat a blue blood. Then all bets off.
