    Thanks for demanding that we know our place . . . Damn be those celebrating 24 - 4 . . .

Not trying to be a downer, but this is not first time we’ve been down this road. Exciting seasons in recent past have not led to program growth. It’s really not debatable any longer.

It’s beyond time for program to make the next step - return to March Madness.

I'm very aware of the SOS, however, we've been consistently picked to finish at the top or near the top of the conference for the past 4 or 5 years only to have an average finish of 6th. Plus, there are 4 teams in the SBC that have a NET ranking inside of 90. Not sexy at all but its better than it has been and winning a regular season conference championship is difficult because it requires consistency and focus. I don't care that you ignored the rest of what I said about making the tournament but going say 25-5 and winning a regular season championship I can say would be special. That word, I guess, is subjective.

I know we don't like referencing this poll, but up to #3 behind some really good company, Gonzaga and St. Mary's from the West Coast Conference.

I could agree with your point breakdown.

I will say this season has been a lot of fun! Very few disappointments, the covid chickens being the biggest.

Duke is a perfect example. No way their fan base will say great with a 7 seed and first round exit. They won’t consider either great.

Cameron Indoor was packed out every game. Or at least, every time they were on TV. (Which is still pretty often)

It’s not hard to pack 9300 when one has 10,000 hardcore fans . . . It’s hard to get 5,000 when you have 1500 hardcore fans

The Bar is set very high at Duke. Nothing short of an ACC Tourney Championship and an elite 8 appearance being the expectations. Regardless, Duke Fan shows up and fills up Cameron Indoor regardless if the team is having an "off" year, as some would say they're having now. Duke Fan is all about winning ACC Tourney and advancing to at least the elilte 8...lofty expectations.
