Last night showed what this program CAN TRULY BE. That’s why a lot of fans, including myself, were so hard on basketball.

If you put a valid product on the court (one that doesn’t consistently average 6th place in the SBC) while doing the right promos for in-game experience, you get what you saw last night in the Cajundome.

We need to stop selling ourselves short and understand that this program has all the potential in the world to be something special. And we need to start acting like it.

No. Mid majors from the Deep South don't get at large bids. I should say very rarely rather than never. The blowout loss to Texas eliminated any possibility of that. Note, the USM folks are really pushing Thursday's game. Their fans on social media are very confident. We will face the most hostile road environment to date.

I recognize that this is most likely Marlins most complete team. They are really good. I’m enjoying this season.
