Nobody knows what a Bullgator is. That version would scare young children.

Turbine has indicated that it has been all over the place here for years (a “tradition”) and I have yet to see any indication of fright . . . It would be what we make it . . . and I sure that to integrate a personality like the chicken into a costume of a gator will be quite fine with the chilren . . . we would call it a bullgator for marketing purposes and to differentiate from other Gator mascots . . . trust me, it would take little time to find out and love what our bullgator will be . . .
Ragin Cajuns is not a mascot, it is a moniker. Florida is the only other school with a Gator as a mascot. Would put us in good company and we have every claim to it that they do. Only difference is that it is both their moniker and mascot. How many schools are Tigers and Bulldogs? Doesn't affect any of them. We are still the Ragin Cajuns, just have a Gator as a mascot. Think of the Alabama Crimson Tide with an Elephant mascot. Nobody calls them the Elephants. It is just a mascot. In fact, they shorten Crimson Tide to just Tide as in Roll Tide. We can do the same with Geaux Cajuns using the updated "Cajuns" logo.
Can’t spell Bullgator without ULL
