. . . we all know the food sucks and is outrageously priced . . . I never plan for anything more than a popcorn for food for a basketball game . . .
Help me out here. I used to sit in the “old 208” before the renovation. We used to be able to walk out the doors and the concessions were right there along with the restrooms.
I could have sworn I heard the PA say about halfway through the game that they opened up the concessions on the second level. Did I hear this wrong? Are those concessions no longer open every game? Meaning people have to walk all the way downstairs to get their stuff?
There was a beer vendor behind section 110 all game.
So, I think they opened extra concessions up there.
I was very disappointed in the staffing for the game; I went twice for beer and saw lines of at least15. But, realizing there was a mardi gras ball taking place next door, they have to staff those. I think when they started their presentations next door, that opened up some staff to come back to the dome to open the additional concessions upstairs. But, this is all JMO.
Concessions are very easy for me....I do my drinking before the game.
