You're almost in the "who cares" zone with these numbers....
I mean i get it…but the station has done really nothing to help that cause. Almost like failing on purpose

When the effort to promote a product pulls small numbers of a non promotional terrestrial radio program, someone is missing the market.

Where is Dave heading? Local sports talk in this size market appears to be a dying thing.

I am curious what the ratings for the other station is for the same time period. I found this

    https://ratings.radio-online.com/content/arb253

But it gives only the total for the station, apparently, in all time slots. I suspect their 0.9 rating for last fall is a boost from LSU football. (The 0.9 rating is nothing to right home about either) I would like to see what their ratings are for LSU football games. I would suspect they are much better than for the Cajuns. If that's the case, then I would think that, from a business standpoint, the broadcast of Cajuns games just doesn't make sense. I tell some in my family that the game is on the radio and they tell me to keep them updated on the score because they don't like listening to any sports on the radio. Which begs the age old question _jf a tree falls in the forest does it make a noise if nobody is there to hear it.

I suspect that UL will go to streaming sooner rather than later because of two reasons 1 the ratings aren't there and 2 terrestrial radio is fading away. Every radio station has an app that you can listen to anywhere there is a cell, wifi or wired internet connection. No more week signals, weather problems or frequency issues. Terrestrial radio is going the way of land telephone lines, CD'S, DVD'S and paper newspapers.

. . . I would venture to guess that if you are streaming, it is on a device with video capability . . . why do radio . . . does $6 a month matter really that much . . . paper newspapers are still very important for the true boiled seafood experience . . . crawfish, crabs and shrimp . . . right Jeaux . . .

Based on the time period I grew up in, I can see the game on the radio.

This allows me to do other things while watching the game.

This will sound like an impossible concept depending on when you grew up.

    . . . define “grew up” . . . I’m still waiting to grow up . . .
