I suspect that any future arrangements for broadcasting Cajuns games will be streaming only. The days of terrestrial radio are numbered.
    And that isn't exactly entertainment.

I worked in NOLA for several year. BP is correct. He said that often on his show. I don’t recall if it was the Great Talk Show Callers Open Think Tank or The Great Callers Open Think Tank. He definitely used the phrase Callers Open Think Tank. I do recall him saying that several times a show. Might have been every time he came in and out of break. I would imagine if you can find archived shows from early 2ks you could hear it.

Sorry to see him go but wish him the best

This will likely be the nail in the coffin for 1420.

Scott has been with TownsquareMedia (or previous owner) since early 2005.

Garland Robinette's own bio says he got back in radio after Katrina. Late 2005.

but when did the show become the great s.c.o.t.t. show…. says scott worked there in 2005 but didnt have a show until 2006…

also if scott was brand manager does that mean calling it the goat was his idea?

He had a show in early 2005, they didn't hire him to do nothing.

Sorry, but I believe the guy with hard evidence as opposed to the bozo’s trying to rely on their memories, especially when each’s memory is admittedly shaky at best . . .

Well some of us do. The Pelicans are a local organization and are exciting

Again the first time I heard scott use the great “sports caller open thin tank” my immediate thought was he copied the guy in New Orleans. That’s fact. I’m not dreaming it or making it up. There is no doubt I heard Garland use it well before Scott.

I'll be on with Scott one last time this Tuesday morning. It's gonna be tough when 9 am rolls around.

Hopefully there isn’t any time for terrible tunes
