And good luck to you Scott. You will be missed, at least by me.

Why does it seem only coaches and media announce to the world leaving or changing jobs, I’m sure at least 75% of the posters here have changed jobs, retired, lost jobs, started jobs etc in the time I have been reading RP yet I dont recall any announcements of such

I’m right there with you. Too much Pelicans and Gus Catengale spewing the same roundabout info, but I did always enjoy the Cajun coverage and related interviews.

Garland Robinette worked for Freeport-McMoRan for a number of years after his WWL TV days. Married cohost Angela Hill for awhile. Both things ended in disappointment. Left FMI and divorced Angela. Went to radio. Very popular show. Developed serious throat issue, returned for awhile but eventually had to leave airways. Took up painting. Did ok with that. Interesting guy from south Louisiana.
I do remember him using the term “think tank.” Based on what I heard from the Yats calling in, there wasn’t much thinking.

I suspect that any future arrangements for broadcasting Cajuns games will be streaming only. The days of terrestrial radio are numbered.
    And that isn't exactly entertainment.

I worked in NOLA for several year. BP is correct. He said that often on his show. I don’t recall if it was the Great Talk Show Callers Open Think Tank or The Great Callers Open Think Tank. He definitely used the phrase Callers Open Think Tank. I do recall him saying that several times a show. Might have been every time he came in and out of break. I would imagine if you can find archived shows from early 2ks you could hear it.
