Just gonna drop this here. How are we gonna remodel a football stadium like this?
How do you get to this point? Do we have anyone looking over this? This seems like a lack of institutional Control!

An extra, cool million from Baylor would have helped quite a bit.

Project has been approved for construction. We’re a go. Increase your contributions boys and girls.

Tried to ween ourselves off of the state teet and lean on the private donor base to supplement funds.

Don't be surprised CF reno is put on hold indefinitely. There is a reason this project keeps getting delayed. Read between the line's folks!

Can anyone provide a brief overview of the reason for the large difference in expenditures between us and Tech? Are we paying more in salaries, cost of attendance, facility operations, etc.?

……I still don’t understand that we can’t get state funds for an emergency upkeep of a stadium that was constructed with state (race track) funds at least try….also try a 6 month sales tax like the airport!……lSonny Mouton we need you back!

First, look at the recent history of athletic improvements and what a disaster it has been and those projects and those are nowhere near the expansive project CF reno will be. They have had a long time to get their ducks in a row and yet they still don't. Read recent statement from Maggard and the vagueness and lack of detail of the status of this project. And I heard personally by one of the major money investors/donations to the CF project they are seriously considering withdrawing their financial support cause of the countless delays and the university seemingly stuck in second gear.

I agree with this unless someone can explain why it's wrong. The incremental cost of educating athletes is not the full price of Tuition. And its silly to believe all or even most of the current athletes would be attending and paying full ride if they weren't on athletic scholarship.
