So they were a bowl opponent this season, and have been a good G5 program for a number of years now.

Agreed they’re not going to move the needle for casual ignorant fans, but a pretty solid team based on recent history b

AND, a upgrade over NMSU.

I agree that the attendance will be bad, but it'll probably still be better than NMSU. Both games would've been decent since both Buffalo and NMSU went 7-6 last year, but I think Buffalo will provide more competition.
