Up 15!
Up 15!
Well, that'll do it. 19-4.
Let's make it 20 on Saturday.
The win streak continues! Pack the dome Saturday night vs Marshall!
Good win for the Cajuns. Cajuns shot the ball well from the field. 9 in a row. Saturday night should be fun.
Greg Williams continues excellent play. Very impressive.
Usually go to the women’s games, skipped it tonight since the last time a DH happened they put everyone outside until the building was cleared. Standing around in the cold breeze isn’t on my bucket list.
Half the students left after halftime honor roll recognition.
Hope 55 for Texas State is ok. I know it’s an expression “broke his ankles”, but dddaaammmnnnn…he got snapped off. Was in a boot post game.

Arena cleared but fans could stay in concourse. Worked fine. Women’s game lasted a bit long. Both games were solid wins.
Women are doing it without their leading scorer Lanay Wheaton. Last Saturday I noticed she was in a boot. As solid as this team has been playing the competition is about to get tougher down the stretch for the ladies. They have to face Troy next who is #1 in the conference, then JMU who is #2 in the conference, the good news is after those two games they get USA, Arkansas State and ULM that are #12, #13 and #14 in the conference respectively. Then they finish with Texas State and USM who are both 7-4 and sitting in a tie for 4th in the conference. The reality is, just like the men, the women have the 2 toughest games of the season back to back and could really decide where they finish based on these two games.
The ladies are 14-9 and 8-3 in the conference and have played the last two games without Lanay Wheaton and won. This team could have been really special had we had Brandi Williams available this year.
It worked better than making people stand out in the cold. The problem is you have a bunch of people filing in for the men’s game who have their food and can’t go to their seats. The much simpler solution is to just start requiring a ticket to the men’s game if entering the women’s after halftime. The group of people willing to show up to men’s an hour and 40 minutes before tip just to get in free is not a big bunch.
This version of Greg Williams makes the Cajuns very dangerous.
Pretty impressive defense last night, considering Harrell was playing at the point for Texas St.
Not sure if any of you guys are familiar with this website, but I signed up a long time ago and I get an update every morning after we have played a game on our status based on our games. I don't know how accurate these guys are, but it is fun to watch the numbers change. Right now they have us with a 14% chance to win the conference tournament and finishing with a record of 23-7. They also have us as a 12 seed if we win the conference tournament.
You have to play around with the site and move around to find all of the information, but it is a very cool site.
