Sad for him but I am sure he has a bright future outside of playing football.
I wonder if he had opted out of the bowl if that dream would still be alive?
Best of luck to that young man. A true Ragin Cajun.
Head up, shoulders back on to the next chapter! You made your mark in football and learned a tremendous amount that will serve you the rest of your life. Good luck and God speed no.4!
Best of luck to Ziyon!! Although it’s unfortunate that he couldn’t continue pursuing his football career, I still believe he has a bright future ahead of him! All that matters is that he was a part of the cULture!!
I'll be honest and say, as someone who has had one miniscus surgery and needs another, your knees never really feel the same after them certainly as you get older and after 4 previous injuries I'd assume it would be a matter of time that he'd have to give it up anyway. Granted, I'm considerably older than Zion and it depends on the degree of the previous tears and what type of surgery you had but it would just become a more lingering problem with the amount of wear those guys go through.
The Warrior...
Wonder if a GA position is open at UL or UF…
Thanks for the memories. I’m sure I’m like lots of Cajun fans who celebrated when you agreed to come play football for Louisiana. You fulfilled and exceeded my expectations for you.
I’m sure you’re proud of your achievements, and you’re bound for many more.
One of the best to ever suit up. Good luck Ziyon.
