Hosting an NIT game or two wouldn't suck, either.

That loss to CCUugh. Don't think it would of moved the needle out the 80's but is a quad 4 loss. We're on an 8 game roll, all conference games, and look where we are. Golly. We on the outside of 98 (NCAA/NIT count) presently, and not accounting for auto bids ranked lower than UL.
Jumped to the NET bracket page on that site.bids per conference projected.
American 2 (with #1 Houston)
ACC 5
Big 12 8
Big East 5
Big 10 9
MWC 5
PAC12 2
SEC 7
WCC 2
All you others 1 each
How far the PAC12 has fallen. It looks more and more each day they will be the odd man out when the P5 shuffles to 64 teams. Other than folks in the PST zone, who gives a flip? When polls show half of Californians want to move away, the PAC12 is on death watch.
ironically i just saw a mid major being advertised for having second longest active win streak in hoops, but dont recall our actual longest active streak in football being mentioned. (also i believe we more than doubled the nearest second place streak)
A little confused here I said in my original post 7/10. He corrected me to 7/12. I then showed him it was 7/10. My point is the Big 12 is not down this year considering they just beat was some people consider the top 1 or 2 conference i the country in 7 of 10 games.
The ACC and the PAC are definitely down this year.
. . . well one can . . . Don’t you remember all those post on Levi and the QB’ on the bench . . .
