I was at that game in Birmingham. The controversial play involved Brett Smith and unfortunately I could not see the play from where I was. CDEB was sitting a few rows behind me and I think he was able to see it. I really did not know what happened until I saw the replay.
If we keep this winning streak going and finally lose in the Championship game, we may open some eyes . . .
Hosting an NIT game or two wouldn't suck, either.

That loss to CCU....ugh. Don't think it would of moved the needle out the 80's but is a quad 4 loss. We're on an 8 game roll, all conference games, and look where we are. Golly. We on the outside of 98 (NCAA/NIT count) presently, and not accounting for auto bids ranked lower than UL.
Jumped to the NET bracket page on that site...bids per conference projected.

How far the PAC12 has fallen. It looks more and more each day they will be the odd man out when the P5 shuffles to 64 teams. Other than folks in the PST zone, who gives a flip? When polls show half of Californians want to move away, the PAC12 is on death watch.
