I was at that game. Our big guy cleanly stole the ball from their all American and the phantom foul killed our chances of an upset.

Replay clearly showed the tenn guy grabbing/fouling Brett smith after a clean steal and they called the foul on smith

It was indeed the NCAA. We got
Robbed. There used to be a replay of the game on you tube.

I was at that game in Birmingham. The controversial play involved Brett Smith and unfortunately I could not see the play from where I was. CDEB was sitting a few rows behind me and I think he was able to see it. I really did not know what happened until I saw the replay.

It’s about 3 games in March…but the rest of the season is the difference between a 16 seed and a 12 seed…which then can make the difference in having 4-5 games in March instead of just 3.

That loss to CCU....ugh. Don't think it would of moved the needle out the 80's but is a quad 4 loss. We're on an 8 game roll, all conference games, and look where we are. Golly. We on the outside of 98 (NCAA/NIT count) presently, and not accounting for auto bids ranked lower than UL.

Jumped to the NET bracket page on that site...bids per conference projected.

How far the PAC12 has fallen. It looks more and more each day they will be the odd man out when the P5 shuffles to 64 teams. Other than folks in the PST zone, who gives a flip? When polls show half of Californians want to move away, the PAC12 is on death watch.

Down? They have 6 of 10 teams in the top 25 including 3 in the top 10. all 10 have winning records. They just took 7 of 10 games from the SEC. All 10 are in the top 70 net rankings including 7 in the top 25 and 8 in the top 50.
