Track and Field: Louisiana Claims Four First-Place Finishes In Split Meets
Cammi Martinez, Jacqueline Pokuaah, Javed Jones and Louden Boudreaux each claimed their individual events and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns claimed 18 top-3 finishes in meets on Friday at the University of Houston Invitational and the McNeese College Indoor.

Some of you are likely aware that I follow the Sun Belt Bubas Cup and post a thread on the CSNbbs Sun Belt board showing the progress throughout the season. You may be also aware that the track and field sports make up 1/3 of the 18 sports. Lon has been making steady progress in improving the quality of the programs. The Indoor championships are next month in Birmingham, Alabama. Let's hope they are finally competitive with the top programs in the conference.
