The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team gained additional preseason Top 25 rankings for its 2023 season resume on Tuesday, January 24 with the announcement of the Softball America and ESPN.com/USA Softball preseason polls.

Just read that Extra Inning Softball placed the Cajuns number 1 in the Top Ten of the Mid-Major Softball teams. Not sure but that may have always been their ranking in the Mid-Majors.
