Nice work on your cutting board. At first I thought it was inlays but then, if it was inlays, then it wasn’t a cutting board

This is my 14‘4“ run about. I’m about 50% complete. When finished it will look very similar to the Chris craft boats build in the 40s 50s. I use all mahogany for the frames and longitudinals. The sides and bottom is 1/4 inch marine plywood. The deck will be finished with mahogany strips and 10 coats of varnish. This is A fun project. It should run well with a 50 hp Honda four stroke

I am amazed, look forward to seeing the finished product.

My next door neighbor (till I was 13) used to build wooden boats (mostly V Hull) I used to go watch him every day.

ps even your support deck wheels are color coordinated.

This is my "Piano Bar" I made a few years ago. I took it apart and rebuilt it. I removed the Iron and replaced with a plywood back. The keys are original with notes on each one made by the original manufacturer. It was a player piano. It was going to a burn pile when I rescued it

Some of you guys should just go ahead and teach a woodworking class...who know we had this sort of talent on RP?

Tasting the notes instead of hearing them was a brilliant move.

    Love the creativity and repurposing.

He would be singing solo, not a string or hammer on the piano. I found 37 cents, a wooden pencil, some cigarette butts and a lot of rat s..t in it when I took it apart. It was a mess.
