Someone on twitter suggested a City Themed alternate and I thought that was a good idea.

Would that not take us back to a Louisiana Lafayette reference that we finally got rid of? It works when the university has a totally different name like SMU using Dallas.

That would look like Monroe's basketball uni's the other night. That had Monroe across the front. I say let them be Monroe and we stay consistent with LOUISIANA.

errr for the cincinnati reds of the 90s, no thanks, were we wearing the st louis knock off caps at that same time too, ugggh

You think when Tony designed that uni he did it because of the Reds in the 90's? Let's say our school colors were green he wouldn't have come up with the same concept in green?

Yes, I notice bc it’s probably my 2nd favorite uniforms behind the cream colored ones. I know for a period of time the starting pitcher picked what we we would wear, not sure if that is still the case.

Classic and simple. Much different than ULMs uniforms they just put out for baseball. Way too much going on with those. You might puke if you see them.

Fair enough. I'd just love to see how sharp this jersey would look with Louisiana in script.

I agree. The same applies to softball they are barely worn. The Grey with the red socks and red pinstripes are some nice looking uniforms. Black uniforms are the worst.
