Move over iPod and iPhone, and make room for the newest device from Apple…the iPad.
Jason Florez, an iPad owner said, "I went in to get a mouse pad and ended up walking out with an IPAD."
People who have already purchased the iPad say it’s a super-sized version of the iPhone, allowing users to do thing like watch movies on a 9.7 inch screen.
One iPad buyer, Leslie Hoover, said "I have the iPhone, so this is a step above it."
Chip Holmes, an iPad seller, said "with the iPad you can very easily look at photos, scale them up, crop them and send them out."
One of the major differences between the iPhone and the new iPad is having a library full of books, where ever you go.
"Personally, I like to read a lot and being able to keep a whole library in one device is great," Florez said.
Hoover added, "That's the main reason, I wanted an Ebook reader and this has just everything that you can possibly anticipate."
The iPad comes at a price tag of anywhere from $499 to $829, something that first-day buyers say is affordable.
"As far as value wise, I think it was well worth it," Florez said.
iPad distributors hope it’ll follow in it’s predecessor’s footsteps and become the new must-have mobile device.
