    Just my opinion.

Player with the brightest future. Joe Charles.

Player not named Jordan brown who has the best chance of playing at the next level. Greg Williams.

    Biggest surprise. Themus Fulkes.

    2nd biggest surprise. Terrance Lewis.

    Best shooter. Kenterll Garnett.

Biggest disappointment. Kobe Julien. (Not his fault). Just not ready.

    Best player. Jordan brown.

Ugliest shot. Joe Charles (honarable mention Kentrell Garnett)

smoothest shot. Greg Williams and kentrell Garnett.

    Streakeast player. Jalen dalcourt.

Your second biggest suprise is a running back??

If we run back after scoring, our defense has a tendency of being much more effective . . .

    Best free throw shooter!

I’m not surprised by Fulks, expected him to play well. If you look at JUCO stats from last year he was 11th in nation in total assists and also 14th in total scoring. To be able to both distribute the ball that well and score at the same time even at the JUCO level says a lot. Plus he already had the one year of D1 experience.

Lewis was the much bigger surprise to me. I knew we had offered him out of JUCO but he really hadn’t done much at North Texas and Jackson State. I really felt he would just be platooning minutes with Charles and Richards at the other forward spot but he really took over especially early on. I hope there isn’t some type of nagging injury restricting him now with the lack of recent minutes although Charles has played well too.

Can’t say I am disappointed in Julien as I had zero expectations. I had said in a thread before he returned I looked at anything he could contribute as lagniappe. It kind of reminds me of that season LaRyan Gary played after his injury. Hopefully conditioning can improve and he isn’t doing any further damage and he can just come in and knock down a few shots here and there as the season winds down. We all love Kobe and just want the best for him.

It's obvious Julien isn't ready yet. He can't run or jump.

I corrected it. Yes, I accidently confused Terrance Lewis and Terrance Williams.

As someone pointed out a few days ago, Kobe is wrapping up his master’s degree. Given the two surgeries he experienced here, I admire him for making the most out of being a true STUDENT-athlete during his ups and downs here.

His getting back on the court shows a true teammate. When Kobe is done here, I think he’ll be a great ambassador for UL.

I'm not worried about his running and jumping as much as I'm worried about his shooting percentage.
