What began as a simple family barbecue to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday, over 55 years ago, has grown through four generations to a yearly three-day family reunion for the descendants of Cleophas and Isabelle Miller.
Every year, close to 100 members of the Miller family gather over the Easter weekend to celebrate and remember their traditions and heritage.
Starting out in Reddell, Louisiana (a small town outside of Mamou), the family gathering has occurred in many places before settling into being held alternately in Abbeville and Lafayette.
