Thread: Way to early Field of 64 baseball preditions

  1. Default Way to early Field of 64 baseball preditions

I find this hard to believe but this has 5 SBC schools in the field of 64.

    Coastal as a #1
    USM as a #2
    UL, Georgia Southern as #3
    JMU as a #4

And he knows this before the season is even born . . .

Pretty sure he mixed up JMU & ODU. ..

I love Ben and the 11.7 podcast. (They love us back as well - Lot's of Cajuns coverage last year)

But JMU aint making the field.

Georgia Southern is losing a ton. As is Texas St.

Coastal has a nice, young pitching staff. Cajuns will find out if we have reliable arms soon.

ODU returns the bulk of their roster and might be the most complete team in the league, outside of USM. USM did lose some key guys to age and Waldrep to TSAB.

Looking at schedules, I like the Cajuns or ODU to compete for a host bid.

He most likely confused JMU with ODU. Plus, JMU has solid softball so that also may have added to the confusion.

JMU as a #4 would essentially mean he is predicting them to win the Sun Belt Tournament and auto bid (and are not at-large bid worthy). But I doubt he is putting that much thought into it.

Cajuns to host? I like that. Who’s the front runner to be the Friday night guy at this point?

only solution is from here on out it will be:
    “JMU at NOVA” or “JMU-NOVA”
    “ODU at Norfolk” or “ODU-Norfolk”

From what we've been told, it's a work in progress. We'll have our yearly interview with Kendal Rogers in the next few weeks. Also hoping to talk to Deggs before the year starts.
