Serious question: people use them for bball?

And before anyone laughs at that…you don’t think we could figure out how to do that for less than the tens of millions of dollars talked about in this thread?

I understand your comments are about your preferences. I don’t disagree with them, but aren’t we talking about how a building can influence the wellbeing of the basketball program?

No doubt those things you find unimportant are very important to young families on tight budgets. My wife always went to movies with a huge handbag full of snacks because of kids and cost. Those movie cost weren’t nearly as out of line as the CD. Especially ticket fees and simple popcorn, drink, or hot dogs. These are things that young families have to deal with. Chastising them for lacking discipline of their kids isn’t going to put one extra butt in a seat. Kids not going to basketball ultimately impacts football and most sports. We can’t lose students and kids.

Outrageous fees and concessions for singular events aren’t the same as ten to fifteen university athletic events Those singular events are a promoters problem. We want to build a brand.

No, the rodeo had a different ticket vendor than ticketmaster...Rodeo has always been in Blackham...monster trucks use CD, no barns for livestock at CD.

Mid winter fair is at Blackham. And the southwest Louisiana black rodeo (believe it’s the actual name) is at Cajundome

How long until this thread gets moved to one of the other obscure boards here or gets cut and pasted beyond recognition?
