Yes I do. But I have had a beer or 2 with Scott Farmer back in the day and I know how hard it is to make a schedule. There are very few opportunities out there that will move the needle for us as a visiting team non conference, from an attendance stand point. Back then Tech would barely talk to us if at all. Other than Southern and McNeesse the other in state schools would bring no one. Talk to a guy like Maggard or Farmer and see how much they struggle to make a non conference schedule period, more less be selective. They are very desperate at times just to fill it. If they can get someone with fan fair that will bring some folks that is lagniappe. Thats why we need to build our home base and quit running people like Krazy jr and his fellow students out of the stadium every week. Our school isn’t doing itself any favors.
With all do respect that’s BS. Go sit with an AD and discuss the difficulties of making a schedule at this level. Have you ever? I have? Lots off variables have to align and fall into place. One of the biggest being getting both parties to agree. Thats why you end up with Ohio and New Mexico st on your schedule when you’d rather play a Tech , Tulane, Memphis, Tulsa, and other more regional match ups.
PS don’t come to me with your apples and oranges BS. Not in to that.
That’s what you get from that guy. He is the one that is talking about scheduling in a way to get crowds. You offer real life discussions with ADs and suggestions on scheduling that could move the needle. His answer apples and oranges. WTF does that mean. He makes absolutely no sense and proves he knows nothing about college athletics every day. He’s just here for the pod shots.
really . . . you still representing your USL diploma poorly . . . give it a rest . . .
