In the original CD renovation plans they were going to move the suites down below the third level which would have allowed us to curtain off the third level. We just didn’t have the money to get it done.

A good crowd now is when they open the upper level. The league screwed the pooch, our two closest games at home, ULM and USM are Thursday games. So are the roadies.

I'm sure they do go by tickets sold, but that really doesn't tell you anything as far as butts in seats. If company A buys 50 tickets and company B buys 50 tickets and 20 people use tickets combined, you're reporting 100 attendance with only 20 actually in the seats. Which happens regularly around here.

I don’t think that is unique to here. Pretty sure it is standard practice everywhere to count tickets sold as attendance.

There needs to be an NCAA standard for counting. That leaves the student in limbo. Some schools make them buy hugely discounted tickets, others just show ID upon entry.

Wow, 5 guys from Chile/Puerto Rico…..I remember I wanted to call football number check offs in French at one time for the Cajuns……when my daughter and Son in law finished playing at Loyola in NO and got married, I wanted them to coach some kids while working inPR! Coach Sonny Roy used his Cajun French quite well in recruiting certain families and areas….oh history can repeat!

Was asked to apply for a job in PR. Unwritten question was, “Do you have a CCP”, and the answer they wanted was yes.

the tv angles made it look like a decent crowd for a mid week game and the crowd was loud and involved, that is a good look for the school, if the tv showed vacant low seats and you didn't hear the fans involved it would be a different story. the tv camera's even managed to find some kids in usm gear. good job by whoever does the basketball tv feeds.

Crowd was decent. Band had the majority of their crew show up, school not in session. Even had a few students. USM even brought some fans and the lower section of donor seats were filled for the most part for the first time this season.

Those USM kids sat in front of us in 122. Parents stuffed them with cotton candy at the game. They were wired up.

They should care. They’re responsible for everything. Awards aren’t necessarily important. They decided to blunt JMU from a bowl for no apparent reason other than a parent’s‘because I said so’!
