So we don’t go by tickets sold anymore? I know some people were saying there were more than the 20k announced at homecoming. Ain’t no way there were more than 13k there and I have pics to prove it. Baseball announces 4300 a game and there ain’t half of that most of the time. At this point who really gives a schitt?

I want that same energy for softball, baseball and football who all compete for postseason play yearly. I know it’s the cool thing to rag on basketball right now but you got nationally competitive diamond sports who do the same thing as basketball attendance wise. The difference is that when I can count by hand the number of people on one side of the Cajundome as less than 300 people and I see the reported attendance of over 2500, there's a big difference between that and the diamond sports. Baseball may claim 4,300 in attendance but I am willing to bet it would be too much for me to count by hand the number of people sitting at The Tigue considering that there's a higher percentage of people actually there out of the tickets sold.

Maybe on a Friday night it’s more accurate. But midweek and Saturday Sunday games may have 1000 people there

Gotta disagree with you on this one. CD and CF just make it seem so much worse because of the ridiculous size of the venues compared to what’s needed. For plenty of baseball games, we are not drawing close to the reported numbers.

I'm not ragging on the team. I'm ragging on the propaganda mill. I know baseball over reports. Football under reports, mostly because of incompetence. I also don't come here and pound my chest about attendance numbers in other sports. I know it's all made up.

I don’t think Brown is a selfish player. I don’t believe his goal is a double double. He’s limited in spite of his high school rating, and he’s constantly trying to make his way. IOW it’s not personal glory he’s seeking, it’s being a leader who wins. That was put on him by Bob.

Semantics. He needs to get the ball out quicker and recognize double teams which will come regularly. Perhaps he can move a bit and get to the FT line like he did this last game and use his midrange shot or beat his man. Like I said, he needs to modify his game. And defensively, it would be nice for him to be more active and take up space in the lane and challenge shots.
