That was our most complete game of the season. Fulks was on another level. Was that a career high for Kentell? Gregg’s dunk was authoritative and set the tone for the 2nd half. Kept waiting for the push or our extended lull, and it just didn’t come. 7 was the closest I remember.

Nothing wrong with the way Bob dressed. This isn’t 1965. Casual dress by great coaches is common.

Yes, seven without possession is the closest USM’s second half run got. They methodically chipped away at the 14 point lead but UL responded. Guards played well tonight, took advantage of USM focusing on Brown.

On a not good note, UL women lose to Southern Miss 44-43, and score 15 points in the second half.

Usually I post the box score of both men and women’s basketball games to allow stats to be looked at, but this screen shot says it all for WBB tonight. Difference in WBB, UL 16-50 FG, USM 18-52. 34-102 combined, my goodness.

JB was mugged all night, which will be the menu du jour the rest of the season.

Crowd was into it. Nice response after 0-2 start in conference.

Fulks best game so far. Great motor, strong defense, generally great passes except two. FT shooting. Hmm, pas bon. So Williams needs to handle ball at end of close games. Garnett was lights out and handled ball pretty well.
Brown was being mugged tonight. But he feed others more quickly. Charles helped on defense. Missed a couple of good looks and an open dunk. But good contribution. Bench more helpful. Crowd second only to LaTech game in participation. Had fun.
Mike’s podcast on what team needed to improve on was spit on. And we did.
