Regardless of who was hired not doing a national search was a huge mistake.

No buzz, no excitement.

If they hired Desormeaux AFTER or as part of a national PR buzz builder... Attendance would have gone up by 5,000

According to DR Maggard and I quote. “As I was going through resumes and talking to candidates the name Michael Desormeaux kept coming up”. He may have made that up. Very seldom in a job search are the names of those who sent in resumes and had conversations are released.
