But RCAF should have automated messages sent out to people who have large percentage drops. With an option for a good call-back time if wanted.
They didn't call me after 42 years.

I got my spot about 20 yards past the maintenance building just on the other side of the gravel/blacktop road in 1998. I think I paid $100 for the year. There were very few people beyond me all the way to Bertrand. I may have been the last one to have a paid spot until Bustle.

Pretty funny. When you don’t know, you just don’t know

I remember "The March on Nelson" demanding to give UL money.

The thing about Nelson Shexnayder is, he was great at accepting suggestions.

He had a committee of fans that he met with once a month. If I recall correctly all but 2 were here on RP gathering and sharing ideas.

I remember the first suggestion to pay for the Eauk was on Delphi.

That is not true. I have always had a spot along that gravel road / now black top road since mid 90s. Right across the gravel road from me that whole time 2 rows deep was former player Peanut Sharon and next to him was the former Mayor of the Maurice. I know both of them payed for their spots.

He was saying there were huge exceptions inside the fenced in area.

    "Not totally true"

So am I understanding this correctly. In those days folks complained about not being charged for their tailgate spot? And today tailgating is being ruined because it is not free according to some? Hmm the evolution of tailgating.

Tailgating was a stand alone product.

Yes it was. Only because we had a fossil for a president who was about 15 years late in starting an athletic foundation. It really is a shame how clueless they were on how to generate money for so long under Doc Ray.

I’m not sure clueless is the right word. We knew damn good and well what we were choosing not to do.

    I remember those days.

I recall the day we decided to beg them to charge us for the oak spot. I do believe that maybe we wanted to be pro active and not have the spot sold out from under us.
