Lessons are applicable in more than one situation.
The guy not playing can be deceived into believing his preparation doesn’t matter because he isn’t getting playing time. The team constantly being told their regular season games don’t matter can be tricked into believing their preparation and play only matter late in the season. The team that executes and is consistent the entire season has a better chance of being rewarded in March than the one that places all its hopes in suddenly turning it on in March. This pathetic mentality starts at the very top with Bryan Maggard keeping a coach because of tournament performance and completely ignoring the lackluster 8th place regular season.

That’s incorrect, starters need to work while they wait…it’s called the off-season. You want to be great? Work while you wait, regardless of what your personal wait is.

At this point at 0-2, yes. I feel the SBC is deep enough for a two bid league but that would require us winning out from here on out and losing to like USM in the final. Assuming they continue to ball.
