There is a player with a great arm but never was able to be successful,, in spite of 3 different coaches- Transfers to another team that UL plays to start off the 2023 season.

The question I have is- we open with Rice I think- wouldn't it be interesting to see him on the mound against his former team?

I never brought him up, you did. As a matter of fact nobody on this site has talked about him in months. You are on the wrong sports board if you think me or someone else has spoken about him on this site recently. Plenty of kids that have transfered out have played against the Cajuns down the road and it's about as interesting as when Ben Fitzgerald transfered and the Cajuns played them. Geaux Cajuns.

Have not heard any numbers, but there were a considerable number of seats available in the bleachers down both outfield lines when I looked two days ago.
