I was thinking the same. He would have had plenty of opportunities next season for an increased share of playing time and targets

If Harvey Broussard is as good as people say and he’s physically ready to play as a true freshman, he could make a huge impact next season
In the history of UL football almost every difference maker played significantly as a Freshman. If Broussard is as advertised he should be a day one starter.
As I have said for many years…good players don’t sit the bench at UL. They play early and often.
In my opinion after three years, you should have a pretty good idea if it was a good hire or not. Especially if you were already on the staff for 5 years or so.
