    Recently finished The Hundred Yard Lie by Rick Telander. Puts into perspective how the problems with amateurism goes all the way back to the start of colleges sponsoring sports.

    Currently reading Jurassic Park.

    Chinua Achebe

    An early classic of African literature, and a view of a culture with very different priorities from those in much of the west. It's a much better read than I thought it would be.

    No particular book, but spending time in the Old Testament. Just finished Judges. The brutality of humanity on full display, especially the first couple of chapters.
