Nobody made it an issue here and I don’t make it a habit of bringing up issues against my school and it’s players and coaches.

Correct no one makes an issue out of things being done the right way. It’s was made an issue back in August when it was changed to being done the wrong way. And we all can now all see the results as proof. I guess this discussion is settled once and for all.

Just getting the opportunity to listen to this today. I hear you guys talking about how the bowl game was a microcosm of the season. Where we just couldn’t finish. You all mentioned Troy, So. Miss, so Al, ULM… all games we couldn’t finish. If you don’t think that wasn’t a direct result of the changes made in the off season and camp that took away that mental toughness our teams used to have, you’d be fooling yourself. Des created this lack of ability to finish mentality by going soft.

I respect your opinion. It obviously comes from an educated place.
I didn't play D1 football but I've been a part of plenty of camps. I'm just never going to believe we blew 4th quarter leads because of how 2 weeks of fall camp living arrangements were structured. That's just too easy. What I saw was stupid penalties, mental breakdowns and coaches who over thought the situation (mostly, I'm guessing, because they've never been THE guy in those situations to make THE decision). I've been on the Lamar train since the day the DC position opened - I thought it was chicken bleep to get into a true drop zone on 1st and 30. You just called off the dogs when Houston was on the ropes. Overthought, took the killer instinct out of the boys and ultimately cost us a score there.

Basketball ain't my jam. I have made a few free throws, 3 pointers and a dunk or two just playing around. I never played on any official basketball team before.
