But that will be good enough for an extension

Bobby Big Fish will never win a NCAA Tourney game.

Kobe is on his third knee. It is unrealistic for anyone to expect high level play from him. If he somehow is able to contribute, its just an additional help. But should not be expected to push the team to some sort of new height.

This is Kobe’s first recovery on THIS knee. Maybe he’s not going to be hobbled, but it’s not like 3 times on the same knee. For all I know his other two are completely healthy.

This is his third MAJOR knee injury in 4 years. It doesn't matter what knee at this point. Everyone knows that once one knee is weakened, the other knee overcompensates and is at much larger risk for recurring injury. I've seen him 3-4 times at Vball games. He even walks differently.

I think this injury is to the knee he hurt in HS but I am not certain. Regardless, I understand being skeptical of how much he can contribute in such a situation. For now, I expect him to sub around the under 12 media timeout in each half and play 10 to 15 minutes total. Regardless of his health, I expect some rust and hope he does not turn it over too much. In an ideal world he would be starting at the 3 spot with Greg Williams Jr. starting at the 2 spot about late January. That way, we may not have match up issues like we had at Texas.
