If you watched this game and your main concern is on the defensive side of the ball I do not know what to tell you.

    Inspiration opens wallets.

    History proves it.

Yeah, their coaches went from letting our players kick their player's asses, to their players kicking our guy's asses. Quite an adjustment. the bottom line is UL imposed their will on Houston in the first half & in the second half Houston got their goat. Never did I feel the game was in doubt until Smith fumbled the ball on the goal line. Clearly, he did not learn a lesson from his counterpart on the other side of the ball who put the ball on the ground taking points away from them. Smith should have realized the importance of ball security plain & simple.

Houston got their goat? Please explain to us that.

Not quite as direct as that, but you are correct, L's don't inspire

There are several interpretations but the phrase to "get their goat" has roots in annoying someone, make them lose their concentration, make a person lose his or her temper.

Season is over and given the circumstances placed on CMD, he did a great job this year.

    1. Administration underfunded the program(NIL, marketing, football staff).
    2. Napier and the transfer portal gutted the roster.
    3. QB injuries.
    4. 1st year coaching staff.
    5. Limited fan support.

CMD has pulled together a good recruiting class and he now knows what he has to work with next year.

Every program has a season regression back to the middle of the pack. I hope this was our year and we come out swinging next year.

Moving forward, we should solidify the QB position by the end of spring.

    Geaux Cajuns 2023!

The worm already said the position is sowed up. QB1 is a given. LMFAO

Chris Smith didnt have his best game, but all you P5 coaches out there on RP that think he cost us the game need to have your heads examined. Stop whining.

Part of me is hopeful for next season. ZC needs to be QB1, CMD can be a players’ coach, but be more decisive. LL1 was CBN’s QB, and there was no doubt. Looking at this season, he was right.

The other part of me sees a RCAF that can’t grow, leadership that doesn’t engage even the average fan (not casual) anymore unless it’s IG or Twitter, and can hear a gnat fart in regards to the stadium. It’s the RCC all over again. This discourages the older fan and creates no real young fan growth. This has to change, or we’ll have a FB program much like both our basketball programs.
