Ben didn't play today. CF play was always going to be encouraging with more reps.

Again, his comment was not about either of those players.

The backup QB play today was encouraging going into next year.

Tough call, because when they position correctly, Houston's offense turns those routes into slant routes.

I will say this, Houston's offense is accustomed to having three times as many of those types of plays per game.
