Gonzaga was a warm up for them. Everything up until this point has basically been exhibition. You don’t win 27 games 5 years ago and walk around without a target on your back. At this point, it would be merciful to our players if Bob retired. Every team we play throws their best shot + the kitchen sink at us because of the Bob fear factor.

Well as previously mentioned, teams celebrate in the locker room like they have won the Super Bowl after they beat us because that’s what it’s like to beat the Ragin’ Cajuns.

Last night struck a chord by the way we played. I get that Texas is a good team, but it’s always the same song and dance with us: beat bad teams, boost the record, then lose to good teams before explaining how those good teams “came to play because it was us they were playing.” It happens every year. When are we going to stop embracing mediocrity and complacency?

Well I went to a game a few weeks ago because of a free ticket and beer offered. I haven’t spent a dollar on or in the dome in 3 years because I’m ready for a change. At the same time I am the guy that watches every game I can and always hopes for a win.

Also to that point. I really like our roster this year. I think it’s got a little bit of everything. But preseason conference champs is hilarious with the fish at the helm.

Well I went to a game a few weeks ago because of a free ticket and beer offered. I haven’t spent a dollar on or in the dome in 3 years because I’m ready for a change. At the same time I am the guy that watches every game I can and always hopes for a win.

I also watch every game and pay attention to what the team is doing, but the program as a whole has become stale. I'm not talking about the players. I'm talking about the overall "vibe" of the program. There's just no energy. Take a look at the atmosphere for a regular home game. We were patting ourselves on the back for the attendance at the La Tech game when, in reality, that was an exhibition game crowd a little over a decade ago. We claim this as "the sign of the times" when really no one wants to spend their money or time on something that is just bland or on a program who claims to be this juggernaut when we are really a middle-of-the-pack Sun Belt team that underachieves more than we should. When you average 6th place in your conference for 4 years right after claiming to be the standard of it, people roll their eyes and look elsewhere.

At this point, I personally don't care what we do this regular season. I don't care if we win 20+ games. Make the NCAA tournament. Period. No more excuses. No more self-gratification. No more "well, we can't because......". Just make the Dance.
