Who's ULL and who is this guy?
Someone we could use.
That Sucks man.
The spiral continues..
The courts made this playing field. The courts will not allow the NCAA to change it.
In layman’s terms, the court ruling was grounded in the constitutional right of a player to make money . . . which necessarily benefits thow who has money to pay. G5 v P5 have no constitutional protections . . . Both are like white males under 55 . . .
Golden rule. Thems with the gold rules.
It’s really just the same ole, same ole. Above the table now
Gotta wonder how we are recruiting. Too many players refer to us as ULL and Louisiana Lafayette. Look at the softball signee who refers to us as the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Our correct name reference matters. This is an important detail our coaches need to address.
I remember asking a similar question a while back. Some responses were that it's not on the top list of priorities when recruiting a student athlete. Or even just in the day to day of being on a staff. Perhaps that it means more to some in the community, like us, than others.
I kind of see it differently. I think your identity is important. I can't imagine someone saying they are signing or playing with UNC-Chapel Hill. Or Nevada-Reno.
Just establish the identity from the get-go, reinforce it as needed and be consistent. Easy, right?
