Well I didn't realize we were talking about just the specials. As a whole, Chris' makes a superior product. (Also Becky and Riv are my neighbors so I threw them a bone. What can I say.. I don't sh%T where I eat )

Pretty much sums it up. Meche’s is my favorite, but I don’t care for traditional king cakes that much. I pretty much just get to eat a donut and act like I’m in the holiday mood. I’ll leave it for those who like king cake to decide the best on that one.

Meche's cakes are basically huge doughnuts, which is why so many people like them, including me.

Now, stuffing that doughnut with boudin or other Cajun treats can only make it better, but that is what we do here in Acadiana.
