Oh yeah. I remember that. Talked about how we scored the 2nd most points against the NC that year even though we lost by 30. LOL!

Now, the basketball Twitter has our game against McNeese as the “I-10 Rivalry.” I thought we were passed being rivals with Southland schools. Guess not.

How do you suggest we promote this game? We want people from Lafayette to attend or watch on ESPN plus if they can't make it. The Twitter post was an attempt to do that.

Promote it without calling it a "rivalry."

Ticketmaster is a scam. Events are sold out within minutes of going on sale and are posted on Ticketmaster secondary market for twice the price within anout the same time. It's legalized scalping.

The three LC places I recommend: Darrel's, Ball's Fried Chicken, and El Tapatio. Just don't ask for a Darrel's special at Ball's or the balls at Darrel's.

Applebee's is always full too. Your point? Is that your litmus? Darrells is the FCS of poboys. You fit in nicely over there.

Seafood restaurant. I'll be the first to admit: I really don't think LC has that good of a seafood place. My favorite fried fish was actually from the fried chicken joint I mentioned above. Steamboat Bill's is very mediocre. Was never impressed with Seafood Palace either, although their gumbo is good.

Fried everything. Zeppelin is correct, Cajun based. Can’t ever recall seeing anyone eating something not fried. My Texan friends only ordered fried and swore by this place.

On the north side of I-10 east of old bridge on service road. Use to meet friends from Texas there. They loved it, almost every time we went, we had to wait.
