Fat guys that have little athleticism and average feet can't play on the edge. It's much easier to come in at 270 or 280, and put on weight the right way. Kids that are 320lbs. to 340lbs. usually have to lose weight and work on conditioning.

Xavier Brown looks like another with no 247 ranking. Not the best feet but he’s young and tall May grow into his body as he matures.

Watch his basketball video. He moves fine for a big guy. His technique and stance is raw fundamentally. He is similar to Waites coming out of HS. He also didn't play in a very good football district.

    Max mitchell 6’5 270
    Mykhael quave 6’5 260
    Carlos Rubio 6’5 240
    Nathan Thomas 6’5 268
    Ken marks 6’4 265

6’5 300+ pound 17/18 years olds with quick feet probably aren’t signing here. All these guys outplayed their ranking/offers

Yes, it’s a good matrix, but the rules have changed. Let’s project a little here
    First year red shirt
    Second year limited play
Year 3 starting or significant backup
Year 4 all conference and possibly transfer portal with one or two best years available.

We’d better figure out how to increase our NIL revenue to many players.

Still it’s the only model that works for non P5 schools for the most part.

If CMD wants more NIL money for recruiting, he may want to be more personable and fund raise.

A 6'6" OT playing for the NY Jets was ~265-270 out of Neville.

I think everyone is over estimate this portal and nil stuff might lose one or two at most. No way all the current people in the portal will find homes.
