Ugh. I hate 37. 37 is depressing Midwest overcast ___ weather. 25 is so much better. It's colder yes but your body can't tell the difference.

At 25 every just feel alive ironically. The air is crisp and clear and everything is silent. We would go up to my grandpa Schmidt's cabin upstate when I was little and I would wake up early then everyone. I'd walk outside just to hear the crunch of the fresh snow. The brook would be frozen solid and when you hit the ice you could hear the thwack and it would echo for miles. The only other sound would come from lone hoot from a friendly owl.

    TL/DR. 25 > 37

Let me tell you about trying to boil crabs at 25 degrees in the FN mountains. Don't. The water never comes to a boil and everytime you try to add some ingredients you have to take you gloves off because the seafood seasoning bucket was not designed to be opened at 20 friggin degress. Lol. Great times

It's not the temp. It's the wind that makes cold weather so terrible.

25 with no wind is much more bearable than 40 with 15 mph winds.

    From perillo’s FB yesterday:

“For kicks & giggles here’s the Euro model’s frigid wind chills for next Friday morning … single digits for Acadiana … sub-zero CenLa northward … as cold as it can feel around these parts if the forecast verifies! This airmass will be coming from Siberia! #LAwx“

If you're driving north next Friday to see the Cajuns play in the Independence Bowl, you're going to want to dress very warmly.
