I had the last laugh though as it was very comfortable sitting on those aluminum bleachers as opposed to just having jeans, even with long johns underneath. Whatever you wear, bring a robe, throw blanket, or sleeping bag to sit on, or else you are going to freeze your ass off. Sitting on aluminum in sub freezing weather with a wind chill is no different than sitting in a deep freezer for four hours. Cover your hands, ears & feet well, or there is a very good chance of getting frost bite. I doubt anyone that attends this game will ever say anything bad about the New Orleans bowl ever again.
    FANtastic advice BWK. Thanks

All sunny skies for Friday. Get to Shreveport Cajun fans.
Curious: will Indy Bowl allow us to bring in Blankets and sleeping bags?

I put that question out to Maggard on Twitter and tagged the in the Indy bowl.
I plan to bring 2 Ragin Cajun blankets. One to sit on and one to wrap with.
Worst thing that can happen is I have to walk back to the car.

We always bring blankets into games when it’s cold. Hopefully they allow it. Took out our ski clothes last night.

Herd in interview with a bowl guy on 103.7 yesterday afternoon. Yes, blankets are allowed.

If you listen to that show, someone should let the host know, the guy he interviewed yesterday, his name is Erik EVEnson. Not Evan EVenson. Also, let him know that RR says "you're welcome" for doing his show prep for him. Dude rips us off every chance he gets. Just like the old days. Taking credit for work he doesn't do.

I was not at the NIU game, but remember watching on TV. This game in Shreveport will be the coldest game I make in person. The coldest game I recall being at was the 1976 game in Natchitoches, LA against Northwestern State. If I recall correctly, the temperature was only in the mid 30's, but there was a light mist mixed with sleet and a strong wind. We were undefeated going into the game, but lost the game in miserable conditions.
