Thread: Grass not always greener...

There were plenty of opportunities for all of our RB's to stand out, and none really did. Maybe with another year under their belt or with someone new (like Perry or a true Freshman), including the RB from Carencro that was injured (Kendrell Williams I believe), someone might become the top talent that we need at the position.

Kendall Williams is way behind the rehab schedule in relation to where the staff though he would be.

That's too bad, hope he can get on track.

Washington played in a wing t offense so it took a while for him to adjust to the more conventional offense. I thought down the stretch he showed much improvement from the beginning of the year to the end. Word is the kid from Carencro rehab not going as good as they want. Perry has showed great flashes in practice as he is transitioning from QB to RB and Davis coming in as a freshman might be the best RB in the bunch.

I disagree, the OL really made it difficult for the RB's to stand out. Each one of the main three showed flashes, but not consistency which could be a reflection of them, but I tend to think it was more an OL issue.

Johnson led Florida in rushing with over 800 yards, 5.7 average per carry with 10 TD's. Another good season and he can declare for the draft if he so desires and pursue a professional career. Don't know if he will make a NFL roster but he has a chance.
