Did what we were supposed to do. Kinda went through the motions there in the first half. Realistically we could have beaten them by 60. I figured we’d give some of the bench players significant time. Glad to see Richards being productive. We need to develop as much depth as possible especially in the front court. Go take care of business in LC and upset the fighting Wayne Brady’s in Austin!
Typical SBC schedule. Can’t recall the last time I thought it was fairly set up for UL.
T was right about our defense, especially how we played last night. Our team defense and weakside help were horrible. We're lucky they weren't better from outside or bigger inside. We really weren't focused on that end of the court. I'm sure it will improve with the better opponents but it was discouraging.
Our discouraging 35 point win with playing time given to bench . . . Complaintant of the day . . .
Well then use a real word. Please. LOL
Defense on Monday night was disappointing in some ways. Cajuns focus these days is to limit open 3 point looks. That leaves you vulnerable to dribble penetration. Still no. Of layups given up should not have been acceptable to the staff or players. We gave up over 50 percent on non three pointers. Now many of these occurred with the second unit on. Focus was not at level needed. Evidence of that is also the no. Of offensive rebounds allowed was toi high. I recognize they put emphasis on the Samford game so it is somewhat understandable what happened Monday. On the other hand, offense was fine as it should have been. Looking ahead, McNeese has discounted all tickets to 5 dollars. Hopefully some Cajun fans can make the trip.
