I heard he will be ready for conference play which is Jan 5.
He was on all of the social media ads this week, and when I saw him warming up last night I figured he would play. Big tease, but I want him ready for conference play. I hope he gets a few minutes vs McNeese or Texas.

I don’t have the answer to that. All I can say is people will complain when we lose and do the same even when we win. I thought samford was a decent team. They can light it up when given the chance as anyone who watched the game could see. They reminded me a lot of Denver back in the day. Not at the top of the league in talent but could aggravate the opposing team enough to give up open shots. I guess nothing will be good enough for the fan base as long as marlin is here. I’m indifferent about it now. Didn’t help to complain cause he’s obviously not going anywhere so I just pull for the kids to win. And they have been doing that whether you or anyone wants to call a team bad or good. I could never pull against our kids period.

I never pulled against UL teams.

He will return for conference play which actually begins on road on December 29. There is also a road game on December 31. First conference home game is January 5. I don’t think there are but a few actively pulling against the team. Some are skeptical the conference finish will be improved and that would be the case regardless of how well we do in non conference. Some of those people who have watched this year’s team but many have not. Those of us who have recognize their is improvement from a year ago but that there are concerns.

I watched our game on ESPN Plus and jumped back and fourth watching ODU and USM on my TV. You do know you can watch multiple games if you have more than one device? I think you are being a little defensive here because of my comments. You don't have to read or like them. Again, what did I say that is not true, or a swipe at this team? They are not good defensively, and they need to get better.
