I really don't think there will be many over night stays in Shreveport from people in this area. It's a day trip.

Especially with a 2pm start time.

Fast food, tank top offs, and a few restaurants will benifit.

We are staying the night before so we can watch the pre bowl parade, battle of bands, and concert the night before, but driving back the next day after the bowl. I think alot of people will do that.

We are making it a day trip. Drive up in the AM and back home after the game. Too many Christmas activities here to waste time in Shreveport.

HorseShoe Hotel and Casino in Bossier City still has a few $80 rooms left for the night before which is very close to the Boardwalk and the East Bank District where the parade, battle of Bands, and bowl concert the night before is.

Sounds like good enough reason for Cajun fans who are staying overnight to get a hotel in Bossier, not Shreveport. Eat at Bossier restaurants.

We are staying at the Horse Shoe in Bossier City. Appears to be a few blocks/walking distance to board walk and East Bank District Plaza where all the happenings are Thursday night. Anyone familiar with this area?
