We offered him while Napier was here. He stayed on him at Florida. Highly unlikely we get him here. We may need to sign more DL in this class than originally thought with Wilkerson gone, Hutchison still has health problems and Wiser will be suspended for the first four games next season.

He was one of those not academically eligible this season. He's not returning. Wiser played in 4 games before they found out he was not eligible, so he is suspended for the first 4 games next season.

Waites was definitely a project player but you can’t teach his size and athleticism combo. Hopefully it is his decision to leave Florida and he’s not being pushed out

Agree, but he's the type of player we have to take a chance on to get that size and athletic ability in our program. He's not the type of prospect top SEC programs take chances on.

And these hot takes are part of the problem. You have a number of these young men who have been told they are great. They buy into the hype. They come to college and have to sit and develop. People are in their ear telling them to hit the portal because the coach doesn't see how valuable they are.

Coach Robichaux said, "Work while you wait." Seems that mindset hasn't been instilled in a lot of young men today.

How does compliance not know if a kid is eligible or not before they play? Seems like they USL'D that.

I heard the person responsible for tracking academics left with CBN and apparently wasn't taking care of biz leading up tho his departure.
